A fire at home

I had a moment with my mother, sitting around the fire. I love how as time goes on, as a thirty something, the appreciation grows, compared to my twenties. I could go on, how my mother crossed the very path that bore me into the world, and how myself, created some sort of catalyst to create a life well lived, no doubt, with enjoyment of her encouragement and finesse. As I get ready to journey on after COVID-19, I look forward to the new friendships and old relationships that have passed, came and family wise, shrunk, but continues on in its own way. Long story short, it take a village to make things work, but it takes a guide to get you safely up the mountain and down as well. Thanks Mom.
