Staying Local, Living local and Having peace of mind.

 

After living, in quite a few places, locally and in the Puget Sound Region and California, I think with the focus of getting everything done, outdoors wise, is actually far off and thought. There are many local trails in Pierce County, beaches and places a little off place.

Start with something like the ferries- Both to Vashon, WA and the Steilacoom, WA to find some east get aways with more trails. I ended up in Vashon a few times, living with a ferry nearby on its other end, also, the ferry in Steilacoom, WA- Is still an idea to continue with, I only made it too it's beach, but there is more out there, while hunting for some new locale and secret-Ish trails. Always pack, with a good picknick at any beach, some beaches in the sound, and California, allow bonfires. Check local first, stay three hours, listen to music, make it an urban hike, or just stay for a short while. But as wisdom goes, the photo is a memory and the time there is a gift.
