Locally, naturally, the cute and tasty blackberry. Known in the Pacific Northwest as a very invasive but useful plant. I remember my mother would make a cobbler of blackberries, after I would go out and pick them. I showed my friends, the fun of picking these berries, and some already had, it was a pastime to look at them, watch them grow and enjoy the taste of northwest heaven.
